Felix Lotter

Hello!

I am a first year PhD student at the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig, Germany, under the supervision of Bernd Sturmfels and co-advised by Rosa Preiß. Before that, I studied mathematics at LMU Munich and University of Bonn.

My main interests lie in Algebraic Geometry and its applications. As member of the project A04 in the transregional research cluster TRR 388 I work on topics related to the Algebra and Geometry of Path Signatures together with Bernd Sturmfels, Carlos Améndola, Rosa Preiß and Leonard Schmitz. I also like to read and think about multiple zeta values, motives, combinatorics/discrete mathematics, machine learning, connections to physics...

I graduated in February 2024 from the University of Bonn. For my master's thesis I studied the six functor formalism of étale \(\mathbb F_p\)-sheaves on schemes in characteristic \(p\) under the supervision of Johannes Anschütz.

Here you find my resume.
